Its my DREAM to go college at the University of Santo Tomas! Believe it or not, my cousin graduted there as a Cum Laude! but thats my cousin and not me :( And another two cousins that graduated there too! The other one just recently graduated! The one that graduated first didnt actually passed the exams, but luckily she passed the interview part of her course that made her get into the college. I personally see myself in UST as a student and an active one! The only problem is that the school is too far away from my residence, about an hour to get to UST. Plus, if there's traffic? That morning rush! I have to wake up VERY EARLY to go to school. And thats not all! there's more! UST is easily flooded because of the rain, drops and HARD one. I saw in twitter sometimes during the flood, you may witness a CATFISH swimming inside the campus. (so where's the tiger thats going to eat the fish then? just kidding!)
When I printed out my USTET test permit, I was scheduled to test on a Sunday Morning! At first while registering, I thought there's a selection that I may choose what batch shall I take, but actually I was automatically registered for the first batch! So then, on the USTET day, I woke up 3:40AM in the morning to have that 20minutes of review and scanning what to answer in the test. Me and my parents left the house around 5:00AM and arrive luckily at the campus around 6:30AM!
But thats not all! Inside of the campus, there inside, another term of traffic! My mom decided and suggested to walk to the building instead of driving to the building and you know what? I was about 40 minutes early in the room! I met Angelique S. a fellow applicant and same course as I am going to take! She's so nice as I am myself! As of the professors arent that strict, they were nice and their instructions were so very clear! The test ended around 11AM and I thought of before going to Mcdo to meet my parents, I was about to take a picture with the UST sign infront of an oldish building. But I didnt BECAUSE I DONT KNOW HOW TO GET THERE and plus, I believe in the legend like the dont take a picture with the oblation unless you already pass the UPCAT. Moreover, the whole place was filled with applicants, parents and CARS! Then I decided not to, I just thought of going there (again) when the results will be released and then, I will take my selfie there :) The plan is just perfect! plus, I will buy "GO USTE" shirt too! The perfect moment I shall call myself a Tomasian! ♥
